Hi guys, as you can probably see when clicking on my blog, my name is indeed Amy. Amy Herrera. I am a student at Hope Arts High School in Providence, Rhode Island. It's a very good school, and has amazing teachers who can only influence you in a positive way. But let's move on to other things that don't require the basic information you can get by simply looking at my blog.
Soooooooo, about this thing....
This blog was made for the purpose of my Digital Media Class. What I'm most excited about, is posting up the art work I will be working on in class. My first project will be a magazine cover. Sounds simple right? We'll see...
I believe art is a very important influence in the world we live in. We are always surrounded by art; whether it be music, paintings, photos, live theater, poetry, words, anything that can pretty much inspire you to create.
Today's assignment was to write a little about who I am. Because I didn't really do a good job, I guess that'll just have to wait for another post. I'm sorry Ms. Weigand; my mind likes to wander off to other thoughts. But on the bright side, now you know the reason for this.
